The programming and promotions team at AMP are in the middle of a very hot and busy summer. It all kicked off under a cloudless sky on a beautiful May night on the Peoria Riverfront as hundreds of people helped us raise thousands of dollars for St Jude’s Research Hospital at the 25th annual Louie Louie Parade and River Jam. And from there, each station has been working hard at staying cool.

98.5 KISS-FM has been the busiest, hosting family pool parties at Lakeview and heating up the night by hosting parties for more than 2000 local high school students at the East Peoria Event Center. As soon as KISS wraps up sending two listeners to Las Vegas for the IHeartRadio festival, it’ll be time to think about going to class carrying a Back 2 School Backpack with more than $1000 in prizes stuffed inside, including a new iPad!

WWCT and JACK have been responsible for more than 500 people attending some of the hottest concerts this summer, giving away tickets to everything from front row at Colbie Caillat at the Peoria Civic Center to a VIP experience at the three day Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. And speaking of Chicago, the first place White Sox games can all be heard on 96-5 ESPN. And just in time for the fall, ESPN Radio recently announced their new 2 year partnership with Illinois State football and basketball.

And while we’ve been staying hot all summer, Advanced Media Partners is going to be even hotter this fall! Watch out now!
